Sculpture

Many customers will just approach us with a rough sketch, our first job is to interpret the sketch and bring the customers ideas to life, On this occasion as the piece was sculptural we would have traditionally started with a clay model. But now we do the initial designs using cad, this both speeds the workflow and allows for changes to be made quickly.

Computer aided design works exactly like modelling with clay you have to have the skill set to be able to interpret 2d drawings into the 3d world, with cad you are just doing it virtually, when the customer is happy you can have the piece printed.

Each piece is Hallmarked independently at the London Assay office to indicate maker, date of marking, where the piece was hallmarked and its level of purity. One of the only countries in the world to still have this independent test.

The Client for this project was a middle eastern government.
This was part of a much larger project and the lead time was about 2 years.
